Thank you for your interest in knowing more about foster care or the process of adopting from foster care in Yolo County.  Please accept this invitation to attend an introductory pre-service class offered quarterly throughout the year at  Yolo County's local community college. Below are the dates for the first evening of the up-coming series. 

It is highly recommend you attend the first night if you are looking for a basic introduction.  If you are ready to move toward licensing, please consider attending the entire series; certainly there is not an obligation for you to make every class.  Guests and friends are welcome, and you may bring along a spouse, significant other, or friend. Throughout the classes you will meet several experienced foster parents and social workers serving you as a guide to foster care and adoption in Yolo County.
